2017-2018 Fall & Winter News

Well here we are looking at the end of the Fall 2017 season and getting ready for the Winter 2017-2018 season. We do not know if the winter will be the as last year so we have to be ready for any weather.

Community Driver Safety Programs, Inc. has completed the move to our new location at 19 Oak Brook Commons Clifton Park NY 12065. This location is Route 9 North. We officially opened this location on August 13, 2017. Our telephone service has been upgraded to have a live person answer the phone from 9am to 6pm Monday thru Friday. After these hours and on weekends and holidays you can leave a message. Please leave your name and number for a call back. We will receive your voice message and a transcript on our computer. Our toll-free number is still 877-910-7843. Our Sullivan County NY location remains in White Lake NY.

Our first National Safety Council class will be held in the Clifton Park area will be at the St. Luke’s On The Hill Church located at 40 McBride Rd., Mechanicville NY. The class date is on Saturday, December 2, 2018 from 9 am to 4pm. Pre-registration with payment is required to hold your seat. The cost is $30.00 for those under fifty years of age and $25.00 for those over 50 years of age. We also provide a National Safety Council Alive @ 25 class for young drivers 16 years old to 25 years old. This is good way for the local High Schools to help young drivers add to their knowledge of safe driving. The cost of this program is $25.00.

A friendly reminder to all of us drivers:

In the Winter Season the roadways may have ice and snow on them. A lot of the time they may not look bad but in fact they are a hazard. Think of them as always slippery so SLOW DOWN and leave extra room between your vehicle and the one in front of you. A question to think about: The legal speed limit is 55mph. The road as icy and snow on it. You are doing 55mph and are pulled by the officer. He gives you a ticket for speeding. Why did he do that? Can he do that?

Our first class in April 2018 to be held in Sullivan County will be between April 16 and 21, 2018.

For the answer call us in April.
Yours in Safe Driving,
Mandell (Manny) Safer
